Re: Side marker light ideas??

Nice thing is being a back fitted factory part you can just buy a replacement lamp from so many places. It isn't my truck but it does look nice.

Re: Side marker light ideas??

Could always go with Firebird lights. I've got a set I was gonna use but my brother used my idea so I decided to go another route and just shaved them.

Here's a picture of his truck, it's a really clean look.

Re: Side marker light ideas??

These are from Marquez and look great IMO. I'm sure typically used in lighting applications but would work as reflectors

Re: Side marker light ideas??

There really isn't a good reason not to make the side markers light up. Its an easy connection to the nearest park lamp.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Do those lights sit flush with the fender like the G lights or do they stick out like the stock ones?

Search the forum from the search box at the top of the page for "Firebird markers ". You'll get many threads. Here's the 1st that popped up when I did.

Easy enough to do. You will need a double filment bulb with socket though to have marker lights and blinkers. The wiring will stay as is and just add the rear blinker wire to the second element.

If you just want it to blink the take the feed wire loose of the park light switch and hook into the turn signal wire.

Re: Side marker light ideas??

Firebird lights have tabs on the backs of the metal surround that go right where the stock lights go with very little modification. Then you use little nuts (the kind that holds side molding in) to tighten them. Also uses same type of bulb

Fit is fairly flush if not a little sunk in.
