Where do you order?

Hey guys,

Not sure if I am allowed to post part websites or not but it would be way helpful for some suggestions..

What are some of the places that you order your parts? I have seen sites like LMC and Ecklers.. Any where else (Other than used) that you have found good luck? (Prices/selection)

Re: Where do you order?

There are a host of choices. Check the Vendor Page on this forum as those folks help support the board. I also like Classic Parts of America, but I live a few minutes from the showroom. Two vendors that regularly get high marks are GMCPaul and Classic Heartbeat. Both help support the board and have trucks so know what they're talking about.

Good luck and welcome to the forum.

Re: Where do you order?

My favorites are Classic Parts of America, Brothers, GMC Pauls, Early Classic Enterprises.

I bought from Eckler's once and they were ok, but very slow.

Everything I have gotten from LMC has been junk.

Re: Where do you order?

As near as possible but across a state line. Sales tax then offsets shipping. If possible, a board vendor, but they have to compete.
The parts are all made in Asia so...

Re: Where do you order?

If your buying front end rebuild parts I'd sure look at rock auto. I bought my Moog parts from them at half price of what o'Rileys sold the same thing. Pay attention to the shipping as some parts come from different warehouses cutting into your savings.
If that happens just buy those parts local. I saved several hundred dollars on my order. Hope that helped you.

Re: Where do you order?

I am lazy and order from Summit since they have free shipping over $100. I have found a lot of CPP parts on there as well. I have ordered from ECE and the really like them also.

Re: Where do you order?

Anyone have a suggestion on where to order patch panels for the floorboard? Shipping on some of these sites is outrageous...

Re: Where do you order?

LMC has been a disappointment. Good research catalog, though...

GMC Pauls has a less-than-stellar website but everything I've gotten there has been awesome, and they are great to work with. Super nice people and they're Hoosiers like me, so...
