Door Panels Pics needed
Has anyone ever made there on door panels. If so what did you use, and how difficult was it.. Please post up some pictures. Wanting to build some for my 72.

I made my door panel and kick panels. Used Masonite board, worked well. 3m trim adhesive and carpet underlayment as the padding.

Here are mine.
Door panels, dash pad and steering wheel cover. Nothing fancy but not the norm either!

Door panels are a very simple project as interior work goes. Seen many many different "custom" treatments over the years, from flocking and carpet at the bottom on up to full on, raised, layered trim panels.
The basic board styles are a good start and a heavy plastic backing will not have the problems a hardboard will with moisture. Need to note the window and door handle shafts are longer on a 72 than the 67-71 vehicles. This change was for the raised plastic panels. If you are going with a flatter panel it can be a concern.
