Destination........Route66 with a 66
well......found it. bought it. Then she sat for awhile. Not so good times on the job front. All over now, and its go time
this is her coming home. found in a small town outside Sin City here. looks a ton different now. have most everything torn apart. will post those later. great to have the go juice to work on her now. and great to be talking with all of you again. Let another thread begin!! Cheers everyone! |

Thinkin, bringing the essentials out of the 60's. P\S, Disc brakes etc. But for the most part try to stay to the roots.
Right now just not tryin to not get ahead of myself to much. Everytime I glance of something I think of 100 idea's. |

some progression pics. its further then this. cab is empty. waiting on parts before tearing out the rust.
Question though. I did go and buy square tubing to mount in the cab to hold from any shifting. Last thing I want is the doors not to close. I have seen in some build threads here where they don't do this? Is it just luck the cab doesn't move on them? cant see taking that chance. |

On the cross braces it can't hurt to brace everything up so things don't move.
I didn't cross brace anything up but I also cut/extended my cab 5". Looks like your diggin in |

Well started to get the cross beams into the cab before chopping up the floors. Got side tracked.......nothing new. Determined to finish this week dang it.
