Re: 1957 chevy family truck
Sounds like a good deal on the window.
My rear glass has some scratches in it also. Let me know if you find a way to get rid of yours. Kim |

Re: 1957 chevy family truck
I think Speedy Glass can still polish out fine scratches. They did my door glass about 6 years ago

Re: 1957 chevy family truck
just came from the chrome shop can someone remind me why its better to rechrome than to buy repops for my wing window and division bar it was $230 I was going to have him do my steering wheel ring but $150 for just the ring was way to much. the repop on that one is $85

Re: 1957 chevy family truck
the repop parts have Chinese chrome so its not great quality. Even getting it re-chromed your taking a chance. I had some Harley stuff chromed awhile back and i wasn't happy with it after a year. Due to the EPA, chroming is not what it use to be. Its expensive to chrome because of the hazardous material they have to get rid of. I would get buy the repop stuff before chroming. Unless your building a show winner.

Re: 1957 chevy family truck
I got a great deal when he did my front emblems was cheaper than repop stuff but now I'm like WOW but he's got it already so I need to suck it up. think it ended up $60 more than repop would cost

Re: 1957 chevy family truck
I think the same color wheel as your truck will look good. Then again I think a wheel barrow wheel will look good on your truck lol

Re: 1957 chevy family truck
what did you do to get the front clip that low? was it just dropped spindles or a mix of spindles and coils?
