Rally wheels with original hub caps
Good Morning Gentlemen,
So, as I sit in bed, enjoying my first cup of tea, my mind has yet again wondered to the build of my truck, especially as all I can do at the moment is plan in my head! The question today then... Can Rally Wheels be fitted with the original style hub cap? I am looking to end up with a stock (on the outside) C10 and think this route might be the easiest to achieve my objective, unless anyone has any suggestions for a plain 8" steelie? Thanks in advance. P. |

Re: Rally wheels with original hub caps
no, they do not have the required mounting "nipples" for the caps to mount. however, you could potentially make some that would work but would need to be secured from the inside of the back of the wheel, which may make it difficult at best.
Might think about using some stock wheels, or aftermarket that might fit your caps

Or you can weld some mounting "nipples" or as I call them "nubs" onto the wheels to mount the cap on to.

Re: Rally wheels with original hub caps
Thanks you Gents.
As I thought, a small modification will be required. I seem to remember reading that those of an 'Air Cooled' persuasion face a similar problem and came up with this... http://bit.ly/1qQBcHq Will give them a go and see what transpires. P. |
