fuel pump to carb

Hey guys I am looking for a new line, fuel pump to carb. I have a 250, I already checked LMC. What about brake lines? Could I bend one of those up? What about the brake line connections, do they work with GM fuel systems?

Any steel 5/16 line would work for a inline 6. I've seen it sold in most auto stores and don't see why it would be a problem.

Re: fuel pump to carb

71sixgun,

Have you tried this to confirm that the brake line connectors work with your fuel pump and carb?

I have a 250 and need to replace that fuel line but have been worried about breaking those connections and then not being able to find something to replace them. Hoping you or someone else can confirm that the brake lines work.

Thanks, and good luck!

Those pre built brake lines work great for fuel, brake, or cooler lines. They make different lengths, different tube sizes and different size ends for them.

Re: fuel pump to carb

If it helps, the pre made 5/16 brake lines have 1/2-20 thread fittings on them....

Re: fuel pump to carb

A 5/16 brake line should work fine if you have the original fitting at the carb.
