Gap for the headliner retainer
Can someone please measure the gap where you put the rubber retainer to hold/finish the headliner ?
Mine is between 3mm (1/8) and 11mm (7/16), so I would like to know what it should be ... Thx, Wim

Sounds about right if you are talking about between the lip for the rubber and cab roof. The are not on a parallel arc. I know I am installing fabric on a backer and tried a 1/4 board and it would not slide into some of the area. 1/8" will work, I am using door edge molding to trim it out after the fabric is in.

Back home, here are mine. Corner is about 3/16" , sides 1/4" front and back center about 3/8".

parallel not required the rubber hides all the imperfections.
i had similar gaps as orrieg's roof, by the time i glued 1/8'' foam and material on the roof i could not get the rubber in. with the stock headliner you can use soapy water to lube the roof, headliner and lip not so with ultrasuede, i destroyed a new rubber trying to get it in i ended up using the above mentioned door edge trim
