Changing Dipstick Location on Crate 350

My '72 has a 350 crate with the oil dipstick on the driver side. How hard would it be to move it to the spot on the passenger side? I want to move it because there is so much more room on the passenger side since I took all the old broken AC components out. Thanks in advance for the help.

You can buy 2 different engine oil pans with either a left or a right side dip stick tube. You just need to buy a dipstick tube and dipstick along with it. Plug the hole where the original tube fits in the block.

The Goodwrench crate engine comes with provisions for the dipstick on either side. There is a plug that comes with it to plug the unused hole. You will need to drill a hole in the plug & pull it out.

Thanks wrenchbenderret, I thought it was as easy as switching parts from driver side to passenger side. Im glad I asked.

Or knock it out with a drift.
