Like the title says, looking for a 72 locking gas cap with the key. Something like what it pictured. Thanks

I actually might have one. it's just chrome and no lettering on the cap. Not 100% sure it's a 71/72, can't remember the year Suburban that I got the filler neck from. If you can tell me what the difference is (visually) between the earlier ones and the 71/72 I'll check.

I'm not exactly sure the visual difference. I just know that 72 is different from other years. Maybe sombody will jump on this thread and clairify the differances.

K. I will try and take some pics tonight for you and post them. I think the Sub was a 72, but I'm relying on my memory

72 is a non vented cap and should have two sets of lugs on it. Ken

Thanks but I think i will have to pass. I'm looking for a new/newer one in good condition. If anybody has a gas cap that I first pictured let me know.

I've got one just like that, bout a year old. I can take pictures of it if you like, but I just bought it at pepboys for like $10, it's not exactly hard to find. At least here in California
