Re: 4" drop spring recommendations
I have the 3" CPP on my 66 and the ride is fine. Had a Road King in the bed a while back and it did ok. The shock package I think will control the softness of the ride more than anything else and there shocks are a little car like on the ride. So pick the shock you want for a tighter ride.

Re: 4" drop spring recommendations
Shocks are funny things and everyone has a feel they are looking for based on how and where they drive. I like the softer feel on the 66 due to it being a cruiser some folks hate it on there trucks. You are going to have to find what works for you and where you live. Around here the roads are crappy and a stiff shock beats you up. How a set rides will be your decision.

Re: 4" drop spring recommendations
I have the CPP 4" drop springs and the KYB's from porterbuilt, love them both. My truck rides great not to firm not "squishy" at all.
