will a stepside bed fit on a fleetside

will a stepside bed fit on a short bed frame, if so is it fairly easy to convert?

Yes. There is no difference in the frame of a fleetside short bed and a stepside.

yes, will fit fine. i believe there are only 8 carriage bolts holding the bed down. all you would have to do is unbolt it, and then rig up the new taillights with the old wiring the way it was on the stepside bed

you may also need to change the filler hose on the gastank.

im sure you can get a wiring harness that will just plug into the main line coming back from the cab
