PS pulley
I'm having trouble locating a 292 power steering pulley any leads as to where to find one...

I got one from Advance auto years ago. IT should be pretty much the same for most GM Pwr steering pumps. Mine has worked on the V8s, V6s, 250s & 292's that have been in my trucks.

Sorry I meant I'm lookin for a PULLEY, But I will need a puller also.. with the brackets I have and the pump I'm using is an early 70's I need the pulley that set's it out farther to match up with alignment. Sorry about the confusion..

Randy--your pump have the key-way? find and post a pic of the pulley on the pump. I have 2 for a short w/p sbc a 1 groove and one a 2 groove. might work.

I see you found the other thread about p/s. mine might work on the later pump but you need the big offset one.

pretty sure mine has the key way, Yea I need the big offset one, I see some on ebay for corvette that are the early ones that are cast Iron and offset but they want a fortune cuz there vette.... The shaft on the original PS might be longer than the one I have not sure have to check the measurements, If so I might have to buy an original one for a 64. It's been raining pretty solid for the last 2 days but we need the rain very bad, as it's been very dry...
