1967-72 with 4" lift on 37s.

Hi Im looking into lifting my truck. I was originally thinking about doing a 4" lift on a 35s. Is anybody running a 4" lift with 37s? if so could you post pics and let me know how much body chopping did you do. Please and Thank you

I used to run that combination on my "fleet". These pictures will give an idea. I'm pretty sure I cut back into the inner fender to make them work. Now,bare in mind,I was running 10" wheels and these tires were 37/14.50s. Running 8" rims and 12.50s will give a lot more leeway up front. It took 7"of lift to clear the 37/13s on 8" wheels I ran on my Blazer with no cutting

I had a 4" skyjacker softride lift with 35x12.50x on 10 inch rims and trimmed the back corners of the fenders just a little. Not as much as Special-K's... I think it was okay at first, but had an issue on the dunes, so I gave it a little extra clearance.... She's in rebuild now. I've given her an extra inch thanks to some ORD zero rates. I'm hoping that I'll be able to get away with not cutting them this time. I can't really imagine 37's without doing some cutting, but the shape of the fenders allow for some modification without it being really all that obvious to the untrained eye.

Here's the Blazer with 37/13-15 TSLs on 8" wheels with 7" of lift nothing cut and never any contact. And that thing was built to tear it up off road.

Sounds about right. I plan on having 5" of lift and 35's. I do believe that I'll be able to get away without having to cut the fenders as well. I'm pretty sure the OP will have to though with only a 4" lift and 37's.
