I have the front pulley system of a 1996 chevy 5.7 using the alternator but there is no computer .There are 4 wires that come out of the plug and they are all white ,need help to determine which wire goes where ,Thanks

There are two different alternator plugs you might find in '96.

For this type, called a CS130 or CS144:

Use this wiring:

---OR---

For this type, called a CS130D:

Use this wiring:
