Where is my tranny filter?

I took the weekend to change the transmission oil on my '67 c10. I drained the oil from the pan and took off the cover. And this is what I saw. Where is the filter? I bought one at Autozone to replace but looked at this and saw no where for it to go ... or to remove the other one. Does this look right? Do I need to release more bolts to find the filter? Any help is appreciated.

Re: Where is my tranny filter?

The old TH400's have a slender filter. It's there...at the bottom of the picture on the side. You can see the pick-up tube. I'm not sure what year they changed it to a large flat filter.

Re: Where is my tranny filter?

Nope, no tranny problems. Just wanted to be proactive. Thanks Boraxman and Turbon1Dr. I thought that might be a filter but didn't want to remove just in case. You think I should drain again and change out that filter? Or will I be ok?
