Duel gas tanks = one extra key to carry
The '73 K20 I recently picked up has duel gas tanks with locking gas caps. The caps are not keyed the same so I have 2 different keys. Has anyone figured out how to get two caps keyed the same? Local parts shops have them keyed different I assume to be more secure. Is there a company online I can buy a pair keyed the same? I know, first world problems right...

It's dual, your gas tanks don't fight each other.

Go to a locksmith and have him rekey one to match the other.

Yeah use a lock smith they can do this no problem.

Thanks for the help. I will give the locksmith option a try if it is cheaper then buying new caps. I also found these at classic industries:

Oreilly has them for 20 bucks, and they're keyed the same. I've been using them for 2 years now no problems. Part # 5991
