K&N is all I run it makes a big difference on the V6 vortex engines indeed.

Personally, I don't suggest them for dusty conditions. We used one on our dirt circle track race car at on time. Cleaned and oiled it every other race or so, untill we noticed a dirt film inside the lid and in the throat of the carb. Probably OK for the street though.

I run these filters on all my vehicles...Never had any problems.
