Can I use a 69 c20 single rear wheel front disc set up on a 68 dually?
I have a 68 dually car hauler. I've read a bunch of disc brake threads here - so pls excuse any ignorance. I can get a 69 c20 8 lug disc set up, but it appears from reading here that the hub will be different than I need for the dually type front wheels.
Two questions: Am I correct? If so, is there a straightforward solution? Thanks much |

To run dually wheels on the front you need dually hubs. I would say you need either 67-72 or 73-87 (will need other componets). I would search for dually disc brake conversion or build threads. Maybe somebody else will chime in.

Your 69 is going to drum also, unless it was converted sometime in the past

So the answer is no, you can't use the 69 c20 brakes on a c30 dually??
