k30 question

Is there any difference frame wise on a k30 srw and k30 drw? Im asking cause i plan on doing a cummins build and most of the k30's i find around here for sale are srw, but i want a dually for the project (gonna be heavy duty haul truck).just wondering if the frames are different and i should just find a dually or not worry about it.

Re: k30 question

No difference in frames, it's all in the rear axle and front hubs out. There are a lot of guys that swap either direction and it's just axle stuff and of course the big azz box on the back of that train.

And when you get a dually rear end make sure its from a pickup the cab and chassis ones are more narrow.

Re: k30 question

I was actually going to go with a dyntrac dana 80 ford the rear and dynatrac 70 for the front but axle assembley length and leaf spring perch widths would be helpful so i know what to order from them when the time comes
