Dumb question of the day... Bell crank

I have a 70 C/30 with a sm465 trans. Is the bell crank supposed to slant down from the frame mount to the ball stud on the engine block? Tried a search with no solid results. It's been quite a while since I've had a 67-72 and they were all 4wd. Thank you in advance.

Mine does also. some say it's worn motor mounts that causes it but I don't believe mine are worn.

That's the thing is I have new mounts. It seems like its tilted quite a bit though. I know there were diff. Positions for the ball stud but this truck only has one.
