Anyone use 2040cars.com?
I was curious if anyone has experience buying a 67-72 using 2040cars.com. If so, how does it work? Did you have a good/bad experience? Is this site a fake (although research shows it's a legit site)?
Thanks! |

Re: Anyone use 2040cars.com?
I haven't bought a truck from that site directly, but my truck was originally on that site when it was at a small car lot in Nacogdoches Texas. I ended up buying it from the guy who bought it from the guy who bought it from that car lot LOL
Everything description wise was accurate as far as my truck was concerned....I think it's just a site that dealers post vehicles on....if I'm not mistaken....kind of like autotrader.com

Yeah, the strange part is there is no contact info. You leave your name, phone, and email and then wait for them to contact you later. At least that's the way it looks to me. But maybe I'm wrong/missing something??? Anyone else have any experience with this site?

I have sent a few email requests out for various vehicles that are "too good of a deal" and have never had an answer. I would be very cautious on those type of deals

Re: Anyone use 2040cars.com?
I've been searching for a car, and a lot of hits have come up on 2040. In unrelated news
DOES ANYONE HAVE LEADS ON A MINT HIGH OPTION 69 BONNEVILLE BROUGHAM CONVERTIBLE? ....but I think it's just a search aggregator, meaning it searches the search sites and puts together the listings. So that's why it's a two-step process: you fill out their contact and it passes it along through wherever the car is listed. What I've been doing is searching by Image or VIN, if it's given, to find the original listing. Probably not fair to 2040, but such is life.
