Just saying hi!!! Haha
Ok so I am new here just wanted to say hi... I will probably be on here A LOT since in the last couple days I've already been checking the place out and it has LOTS of great info here!!! BUT I just got a brand new project / driver that over the next year or two plan in doing a full restoration on :-) I've always been into trucks American v8s and muscle and this truck is kinda the best of all those worlds, not to mention I've ALWAYS loved these body style trucks since I was a kid :-) but anyways this weekend I finally got my very own small window 67 k10 :-) I need to put a th350 trans and torque converter into her so I can start driving her, as soon as I figure out what I need for a converter lol seems there's A LOT involved with figuring that out... Lol
Here's some specs on what's been done so far... 305: .030 over 10-1 pistons new eagle crank 1.94heads completly machined .507-.510 lift cam 296 duration 7"lift new rear driveshaft 38" super swampers brand new shocks dual front stabalizers edelbrock rpm airgap intake holley 600 four barrel carb |

Thanks, and yeah I know I need a stall converter behind all that cam but the more I read the more lost I get, haha. I'm seeing 2500-2800 stall which is around where I need to be I do believe but then I'm told even if a converter is rated at 2500 depending on the torque, gearing, tire size, and weight of the vehicle it could wind up stalling at 3100 or wherever... Makes the smoke roll outta my ears instead of from under the truck... Hahaha |

Re: Just saying hi!!! Haha
The stance of that truck is really nice...plus its a '67 small window. Great combination!
