Leveling but not lowering the stance, 1963 C10

I know this goes against all that is cool but I would like to raise the front of my truck about two inches to give a level stance instead of the slanted forward footing that appears to be stock. One approach would be to lower the back end 2" but I'd really prefer to bring the front up.

What is the best way to do this? Not the cheapest, not the quickest, not the easiest. The best way. The truck has the factory stock trailing arm suspension in the rear.

Oh, howdy. I am new on the forum.

New springs. 3/4 ton or one ton will add a little. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=282398

Thank you for the quick response.

The flatbed project truck has more lift than I'm looking for. New springs sounds about right. I was wondering if rear coil springs could be used up front. If I change to 3/4 or 1 ton, will that change the handling significantly?

This is the stance I'm trying to achieve:

It will be stiffer ride. Front and rear springs are different. Find a local spring shop and have them make a pair.
