Took the dog and my fiance out for a ride

The truck is finally to a point to where I will drive it with passengers so I decided to take my dog and fiance out for a drive this weekend. Figured I would share a few pics.

For those interested you can see my build thread here:

That is a beautiful dog... the other two look good too

Here are a couple pics of my girl's husky.

the first one is after a 5 minute brushing (which she doesn't like) and the second one is her relaxing afterwards.

That is a very familiar scene at my house. It is insane how much hair comes off these dogs! Thanks for all the compliments guys.

No rain in the forecast through Wednesday. I'm still waiting to see that thing come to work. The last time it was here it looked a little different.

You should be proud of all 3 of them! Very nice.
We have 6 dogs ourselves but none have long hair that shed like that.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I used white oak with natural stain and 5 coats of marine spar varnish. Was a lot of work but it turned out really nice. Seems to be pretty durable too.

Re: Took the dog and my fiance out for a ride

Well, after much cajoling, I finally convinced xludan to drive that beautiful truck to work. Unfortunately I got called to another plant early in the morning so I only got to check it out for a few minutes in the early morning sunlight.

Even without the trim and final finishing touches, this is a VERY nice truck.
