Do they screw into the drip rail or clamp on?

They screw on just below the drip rail. 3 screws for each bracket.

I felt the same way then I looked at my swing spare tire carrier, and aux fuel tanks and said f it it's not a concourse truck. Its just a fun truck never going to 72 ferrari dino gt, just a fun truck. Might as well.

Ya that's true I do have the tire rack I'll think about it I do like them. Do you know what type of lights bolt to them? I have the same hood in the pic above.

most any light with a 7/16 or 1/2 stud would work.

Re: Hickey windshield light brackets NEW
What did you use for screws, and what do you plan for the wiring routing? Look real nice on there!

Re: Hickey windshield light brackets NEW
Thank's. By the way, how high is your garage door header? I think I should have built a bigger pole barn with higher access doors!

Re: Hickey windshield light brackets NEW
Thank's for the measurement on your header height. My pole barn also has a 8' header. I found some old pic's of these mounts. The brown K5 is what inspired my build. Mag is Four Wheeler from 1984. Other one is from a 4 Wheel&OffRoad mag from 1979. Hope the pic's turn out, been saving them for a long time. By the way, have you ever seen the shields under the lights? TTT for you!

Re: Hickey windshield light brackets NEW
Curios about the screws to use. #8 stainless self tapping. How long, 1" or ? Checked all my local stores and nothing available like that here. Found 1" sheet metal screws in stainless at our home depot with a pan head, seem a bit short? Could you use a 1" stainless self tapper with a screw head? Any advice here would be great. TTT FOR YA!
