Brand new & need help with my heater
Just got my 72 K20 custom home last week. PO said needed new fan switch, put one in and nothing. No power from harness that plugs into switch. Been at this for about 3 days now. The harness only has 3 wires that plugs into switch with 4 blades. Anyone know where the power comes from? All fuses in block are good, is there something inline?? Wireing was/is still a mess from P.O. Any help would be great!

Re: Brand new & need help with my heater
I can't tell you off the top of my head where the power is supposed to come from, but I do know that wiring diagrams and schematics are available for your truck. Wiring problems can be frustrating, but the answer is there somewhere. It reminds me of when I learned that the diagnosis of a PO who couldn't fix it might not be right. Take a breath, drink a beer.
