windshield wiper

I have a 85' silverado. Have any of you ever seen the wipers come on during starting the truck. They come on as long as I'm turning the motor over. Once it's started they stop. They work fine in all settings any other time. Thanks in advance for the help.

That happened to me. Drove me insane and tore up my wipers. All you do is replace the wiper control module. Go to your local GM dealer parts counter and tell them what you need. It was $50-$60 if I remember correctly.

Forgot to mention, the module is right under the steering column underneath the metal trim panel. It looks like a skinny black box with a big silver heatsink.
