radio or delete.....

i've got a stock radio (AM) and a delete plate. which one should like install? i remember someone doing the delete plate as a face plate for a CD stereo, who was it and how did they do it? thanks.

Depends on your preference. I prefer the AM radio "look" myself but the delete plate gives you a "cleaner" look.

I think the stock AM look great, but I also think the radio delete that hides a CD player is a cool idea too! If I didn't have my AM I would do the delete plate look as long as you don't cut the dash

I gotta go with CPNE on this one, I really like the look of the am radio (even if you have a more "up to date" radio hidden somewhere. Just don't sheet metal screw it to the bottom of the dash.

I have my original AM Radio in the dash. And the one I listen to mounted on the seat.

when I got my truck...it had a hideous aftermarket AM/FM/8-track player that was too small for the radio holes, so it flopped around like a fish out of water. Plus I couldn't hear it at road speed, so I threw it away and went with a delete plate. Just need to paint it and it will look great.

Oh, and I have a CD player in my glovebox that I actually listen to.
