Hi all
I'm putting disc on the front and going 5 lug so I need to convert the rear also. Is it worth switching to disc or keep the drums.
Also I'm lowering it a little by want to keep a slight rake. Would 3.5 front and 4 rear work?

I think the rear disks depends on how much money you want to spend. or how how many horses you have or how much you are towing. Most people just do disks up front and drums in the rear. that is what I have and it works fine for me. That being said, I would love to have disks at all 4 corners. As far as the drop goes. That will give you a little less rake than stock. From what I have read a 2 inch difference will make it level.

I put rear disks on my suburban, because I could lock the fronts up when towing my enclosed car trailer. Would never go back to drums on it. But I dont think I would bother putting them on the pickup. Id be afraid of having too much rear brakes in it when there is no weight in the bed.

An adjustable proportioning valve will take care of that.
