trim delete question??
Could you order a CST truck and delete the exterior trim package? thanks

Anything was possible, but in general no.
Trim was part of the CST and Cheyenne packages

Probobly could be done, that wouldn't have required GM to do anything really special. If it wasn't listed as an option you'd have to pay to have them not put it on, but I can see it being done.
Most likely someone would just order the items they wanted without putting them in a package though. |

I'm pretty sure that for 67 and 68 anyway the side trim and CST were seperate options. It would be pretty unusal for a CST to lack trim for it seems that most CST's were orded with the side trim too.
I think in later years side trim is included with the CST/Cheyenne packages

You're righ, the trim was not part of the CST in 67/68...I always thought it was. (just looked it up)
In 69 - 72 it was onless it was a step side. |
