Any updates? Did you end up selling this truck? If not, any progress photos?

Re: 1971 factory short, big block, complete nos restoration

I finished a few things on the truck and it's being picked up by the new owner today. I've attached a few pics. I installed the A/C system, full-wheel covers, whitewall radials, spare tire, air-cleaner heat stove, etc.

Seeing this truck makes you realize how perfect they were off the assembly line from GM. GM nailed it with this design.

Re: 1971 factory short, big block, complete nos restoration

I'll bet you do. I've always wondered how you guys could sell a truck you built to such a higher level. During my build I've thought about selling but when it really came down to it I don't think I could. once it's complete i probably never would unless my kids were sick and I needed money fast or something of that nature. That truck is a top build on this site for me.

I Thank you for the complement. Yeah, Some time Life happens, Had to sell but this one I am restoring now will never be sold if i can help it! I am in much better financial condition now. Plus i could never find the Nos parts again to do another truck this quality.
