Porterbuilt Extreme Dropmember Wheel Backspacing

Im looking at ordering the Raceline hooligan wheels for my 67 c10 with extreme front drop member with standard length control arms, extreme rear member with trailing arms and outboard bags and with the bolt on body drop. Im wanting to run a 22x9 up front and a 24x10 outback. Im not really looking to narrow my rear end.

Will both wheels need a backspacing of 6in to clear without rubbing. I noticed most of yall are running a 22x8.5 with a 5.5in backspacing up front.

Your math sounds right. Still might have to tweak the bedside & tubs for clearance.

With 20x10 in the rear, I think that is the backspacing on mine.

You can't talk about rear wheel backspacing without including which "width" rearend you are using.

True. But the OP did mention it was his 67 C10. I based my response on that.

Yeah I currently have the factory rear end in the truck. I'm currently out of town and had someone measure it for me. It came out to about 62 1/8 wheel mount to wheel mount. Been reading that some have been running a 5" backspacing. Just didn't know how close they were to the bedsides when fully laid out.

The narrower (63-69/70) housings can do the 10" width w/5"bs on big drops. When laying out, the inside wall of the bedside gets close. Some go w/additional backspacing & others opt to modify the bedside w/a mini tub mod to allow more wheel dish.
