Re: Want to trade gauge cluster

still looking for a trade. did some research . there are similar gauge clusters on ebay priced up to $920. I would like to trade for a stock dash with tach with wood grain. any offers?

Re: Want to trade gauge cluster

As a side note ... that's a 3 3/8" window. You can easily install a tach into it. Tachs are $35 for 3 3/8 at autozone - black or white.

(talking about if you get a setup that needs a tach) There's a thread about how to install a tach into your non tach instrument panel

Re: Want to trade gauge cluster

Man if you think that your dash is worth in the ballpark of $900.00 range then why don't you just sell it and buy one that is restored. Just because you see things on ebay for $900.00 does not mean that they are bringing $900.00 and the ones that you are seeing are probably new and not in a truck that who knows what has been done to it or what works.

Re: Want to trade gauge cluster

man they are not just on ebay for that price. never said mine was worth $900. I figured it was worth half that as I stated in a previous post. you were going to get back with me and try to put something together. if some one is interested I would make sure it works before I send it to them. it looks brand new. previous owner sold me the truck with a lot of things unfinished. I just thought somebody would prefer this style over stock. if not no problem.

Re: Want to trade gauge cluster

It was a suggesting that it maybe and avenue that you could try to get what you want. With the holidays and the kids out of school I have not had time to do anything. The main thing you need to look at is if the bezel is a Covan or a knock off. A carbon Covan bezel would make it worth a little more but I do not know if they stamp them or not. What will you sell it as is for? If someone buys it then you can just go and buy the dash you want restored or new for $325.00-$425.00.
