Another rip-off artist?
I hate to even accuse someone, but I'm tired of waiting and and my options are limited. I bought a holley carb off of user BIGUNDE in the beginning of december. I paid $130 shipped for it. I hadn't heard too much about him, but he had 130 posts. Well, he replied to my first email at the end of december, stating that his wife had mailed a bunch of stuff out and he would look into it. I have e-mailed several times since and have gotten no reply. I have PM'd him also. During the past week, I have called him twice to figure out what is going on (I left messages). Nothing. I am on the verge of calling the cops (after my 255 lb bodybuilding brother that lives 45 minutes from him pays him a visit). Does anyone live near him? Now I kinda feel bad. Maybe something really is wrong. But I believe in communication. I really think he is trying to avoid me. The funny thing is, when I bought it, he promised me that he was an honest fellow and there would be no problems in returning it if I wasn't satisfied (should have been my first clue). His name is Derrick Martin, Brian
(From Josh: Removed the address, do not post personal info about someoen publicly on the board regardless of your problems with them.)

Beginning of Dec? That's just plain ridiculous, it only takes 2 days to ship a damn package. Even if the guy is a busy person, I'd say 2 weeks max. I'd be upset too.

*EDIT* I tried to post a link to www.nastyz28.com. Do a search over there for the same username. He's still posting there and maybe it's just a real bad lack of communication. Hopefully this will work it's self out real quick. Good luck my friend. It seems to be occouring way too much lately. Last edited by ratrod67; 01-26-2004 at 12:02 AM. |

report him to www.IFCCFBI.gov. There is a simple series of online forms you fillout. It is a crime and he should be reported. Also, if you paid with a credit card, file a dispute right away. Some credit card companies had a 30 day limit others are much longer. If you used PayPal, file a dispute there too.
