Re: Wtb original radio speaker

"Think" I have one in the parts stash. Will look tomorrow and check the condition. Pretty sure the fabric cover is quite likely rotted. If I have it I will get some pics and post them.

Re: Wtb original radio speaker

Not sure if this would interest you, but I've used one of these speakers and they are a very high quality replacement speaker. One of these was cheaper than re-coning an original.

Re: Wtb original radio speaker

WETOWM, pictures of the speaker I have. The frame and magnet are in really nice shape, the speaker material is dry rotted and torn as mentined. Guess that would not matter if getting re-coned. I had thought of having a re-cone done to it but had not gotten to that point yet. $10 plus shipping sound fair?

I don't want to step on anybody's toes, but if no one else can help you I can dig the one I have out. The black cloth is rotted away, but otherwise in great condition (as I recall)

Re: Wtb original radio speaker

Not sure if the pig tail wiring is still in the truck or not. Pulled this from a '70 3/4 ton I am parting. Will check and get back to you later today.

Re: Wtb original radio speaker

Just curious, are you looking for just one speaker or multiples?

Have a good Christmas,

Re: Wtb original radio speaker

S/M Electrotech sells a USA made replacement speaker for a really fair price that (FWIW) sounds a lot better than an OEM unit: http://www.turnswitch.com/
