Thanks guys!! It's getting there. Just ordered a bunch of new Billet goodies, hood hinges, interior pieces, ect....as well as the carpeting and taillights. Oh and I'm finally getting those new rims mounted. So happy to get this finished soon!!

God bless your Dad/Best friend. I'd give anything to have just 10 more minutes with my Dad.
Oh, and this truck isn't going anywhere. When my time is near it will be passed down to one of my boys.

Re: 1979 Restoration (Pop Pop)

Always exciting coming home from work and finding this on my porch.

Lets see what's inside...shall we??

New blue carpet.

Billet rearview mirror, awesome quality!!

Cool tail lights, with a little bling.

Sill plates.

Some side view mirrors, went with the round to match the round headlights.

The dash bezels.

Some chrome window handles

Can't forget the polished door lock knobs.

That will do for now. I'm waiting for the Billet hood hinges, door window/channel kit and other odds and ends.

Re: 1979 Restoration (Pop Pop)

Build is looking awesome, looks similar to what I'm doing. Keep the pictures coming.

Are you using stock height spindles? I have some 2" lowering spindles and I think I'm going to end up wanting stock height down the road, When I'm aired out the control arms hit the ground and wheels lift up.

Re: 1979 Restoration (Pop Pop)

All painted in a Lexus White Pearl. This is a tri-stage pearl. A ground coat white layer, then a pearl layer, then clear.
Now reader for final assembly. :-)
