Here are a couple who are pretty well respected for doing a good job of hauling folks cars for them. Not the cheapest by any stretch but respected and reliable. They all haul cars for folks on the HAMB on a regular basis.

All three of these guys haul enthusiast cars for a living and aren't some guy looking for a back haul to pay for his trip for hauling something he sold and delivered to someone.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

From past experience some of those big carriers with convoy trucks won't haul non-operative vehicles. It might be worth checking out but usually they want to be able to drive them on and off the convoy trucks.

Yea I was thinking the same. If they'll do it they add an extreme amount since the truck is inoperable.

Well I work for Reliable and I can tell you I push or winch cars and trucks on my trailer all the time. As long as you get it to my tailgate it will go on my trailer. As far as I know thet don't charge extra for nonrunners. You might want to make a phone call and don't go by here say.
Just my two cents hope it helps.

Re: Need truck transported, Tucson, AZ to Joplin MO.

I had an inoperative truck shipped across the country. Took longer to book and cost a few dollars more but it got done. Some drivers don't want them, that's true, but it's a free market and you can find someone to take it.

I always like to give my transport broker a shout out. Henry Metzger, www.hjmshipping.com. Hard working and honest. I have shipped 3 times with him with no problems, and would use him again in a heartbeat.
