Re: weight of bed
6' bed is about 320 pounds. That's from a newer truck, but should be close. Four guys.
I found mine to be a LOT heavier until I found the extra strap the original owner had added between the trailer hitch and the bed rails. Just about snapped my lift before I realized "there's no way it's that heavy...."

Re: weight of bed
I dont know the actual weight but it only took me and 2 friends to lift the whole thing off without the tailgate on it if that helps

Re: weight of bed
I feel like my original 8' wood floor bed was lighter or close to my Repo steel floor 6' bed. Me and one person, but I swear the 6' felt heavier.

Re: weight of bed
I would guess 400 lbs or so. With 1 person on each corner I've taken a few long beds off with tailgates attached and not had too much of an issue.

Re: weight of bed
415lb is the difference between a chassis-cab and a fleetside on a 107" wb.
GM lists the E81 floorboard (wood bed) to be 15lb heavier without distinction as to length.

Re: weight of bed
I weighed a long bed with steel floor and tailgate at local CO-OP scales on my trailer. The amount of gas I had between full/empty trailer was different,so I had to give it a range of 460-500 lbs.

Re: weight of bed
Like some of the others, I've moved several longbeds with two of my sons/sons-in-law and me. Not really a problem at all.
