Dropped spindle question
What is the lowest drop spindle I can use and still use aftermarket aluminum 15" wheels? My truck has lowering spindles on it and there is very little clearance between the lower a-arm and the steel ralleys on it now. I want to buy some new wheels, but may have to replace the spindles as well. Call me old school, but I want 15" wheels.

Re: Dropped spindle question
Should pose no problems...I think 2-1/2" is the max drop spindle out there. My 15x8's with BFG 60's clear just fine. Might run into fender and fender well clearance issues depending on tire choice. My 72 clears the control arms, stop to stop with no issues. Wheel width and backspacing may pose problems if you go too deep or wide.

Re: Dropped spindle question
Backing spacing will be 4" max. Even with 4" BS you may still get the rim rubbing the lower control arm when making a tight turn if the bump stops have been removed.
