Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!
Is this the elusive and rare 2 door Sub? The one with the fake 3rd door? Just kidding, it looks like you shaved the side door handle but is it still opened only from the inside, correct/incorrect? Because I like that cleaner look with no handle. Very nice job of bringing it back to life for usage, also like that solid gray color.

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!
Pics of my 70 Sub, built by unknown, will be refined a little by me. 350, TBI possibly a late 90's engine but I haven't gotten to the block number yet. Appears to be a 2000ish donor for the interor and maybe the steering column. C notched and bagged in the rear, front end replacement and also believe it to be the late 90's version. Still trying to put the story together without much luck so I am digging in every chance I get.

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!
Definitely going to rebuild that dashboard and clean it all up, maybe sink the high dollars into a Dakota as everybody who has one is happy with them. That will be my first focus as I finish my 69 truck by the target date of this summer.

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!
Here's a few of mine. '67 C10, 327 (now 350)/4-speed (NP435, converted from 3 spd. long ago), HD cooling/shocks, overload springs, original paint, 327,000 miles, 3 engine swaps, lots of memories of growing up in it, and making new ones frequently.

Re: calling all 2wd suburbans!!!
The seats were recovered, the material was found by looking through books and books of samples at the upholstery shop. Kind of herring bone-ish pattern.
