another snag in my build, outer spindle wore out to much, and didnt know they are part of the housing. anyway all i need is a bare housing for my '69 4x4 3/4ton w/leafs. i rebuilt the hubs and tried to mount pass side and it has at least 1/4'' gone where the inner bearing rides on! anyone close 2 me have one?

Talk to a mobile truck or tractor mechanic. They have guys that can weld that up and machine it specs

I have a 3/4 ton out of a long horn I just had it gone through and put on the shelf for another build but i would consider selling just the housing but would make a sweet deal on the whole thing and it is a posi to boot.

There is a ridge on the lower side of the the surface that the inner bearing rides on. That is where the weight of the vehicle and load rides on. It is probably the same as what you have with yours. Sorry.

I worked with tractor trailers and when a bearing failed, a mobile company came in, cut the complete spindle off and welded on a new one. Short of finding a nice low mileage housing, you might consider this. Dan
