Re: wtb- glass

Most site vendors are reluctant to ship glass.
Have you looked at LMC website?

Re: wtb- glass

I've got one from a 69. Let me know if the one above from Southern Parts does not work out. I will check mine out this weekend, too, but I recall it was in good shape.

Re: wtb- glass

I have a couple window glasses that are clear, no tint, just glass, no sash. Will look later today and see what kind of shape they are and get back with you. Driver's side need only or do want the pair if nice?

Re: wtb- glass

Sorry but the glass I have is no better than average . Probably not worth your dealing with it to replace what you have now. Good luck in your search.

Re: wtb- glass

Donnie you can buff that glass and get most of the imperfections out of it. I probably have one here and am up your way from time to time. I would think any original glass that is 40+ years old is going to have some light scratches in it.

Local auto glass places should be able to supply a brand new one for you.

PT
What I'm dealling with is the scratches left from the fuzzy and wiper wheatherstriping being worn out and the window draging on the metal of the wheatherstriping,,,,

Re: wtb- glass

I will take a closer look at the ones I have. They are really dusty from storage and I did not wash them off. Originally thought you were looking for mint and these are not I know. Might be clear enough for what you are needing.

Re: wtb- glass

BigOrange, pulled the glass pieces out of storage and it looks as if both pieces are driver's side. Washed them and both are much nicer than I had thought. Will try and get pics, not sure how to photo them to get a decent picture. Both glasses have a couple VERY minor lines on them down low, almost hair like. Some light cludiness or haze/smudgeing down low at the sash line, should polish out or not even be seen when installed. Interested ? $20 plus ship for one sound fair? Would do both for $30 plus ship. Re: wtb- glass

Glass pics for Big Orange. Glass is really nicer than I had first thought but so hard to take pics of glass can't seem to get the hair lines to show up. Would be glad to take some more pics if anyone has an idea how to make really faint lines show in glass. $20 plus ship for one, $30 plus ship for both if interested. Both are driver side glass with no sash.
