Would this rear end fit my truck
My truck is a 1984 half ton 2 wheel drive (c10)

Will it probably but its 6 lug and your c10 is 5 lug.

I can't tell from the pictures if it's a 10 bolt or 12 bolt (I'd need to see the cover straight on), but either one should fit your truck. However, because the rear end is from a 4x4, it's 6 lug, and your truck being 2wd is most likely 5 lug.

it will bolt up... Just need to find out the spline count for the new axleshaft you'll have to get or have them and the hub machined to 5x5 bolt pattern..

You can change out the axles for 5 bolt axles, many salvage yards have them and can get you what you need. We put a 12 bolt rear end out of a blazer under my son's 86 1/2 ton and it fit just fine.
