Driveshaft shops in Los Angeles area
Can anyone recommend a shop for a new rear shaft for a K20? Going 14 bolt and need to shorten it.
was also thinking of adding a long travel slip joint while I was at it to increase the contact area extending the life of the shaft. Good idea or too much drag? |

Yes, I've used them many times over the years. Check out their web site. Good tutorial on measuring.

Re: Driveshaft shops in Los Angeles area
I have had 2 made by Wenco Ind. in the San Fernando valley. Very pleased, and far less than Cannon Engineering ( North Hollywood) that I used to use in years past.

Re: Driveshaft shops in Los Angeles area
I had a mail order shaft from Wenco for my 240z with swapped in turbo T5 and 1310 joint on the rear. I was very impressed with the honesty and quality of work. I had an issue and the guy remembered our call and that it was his mistake. Made it right, made it fast, and my next shaft will most likely be a Wenco as well.

Another vote for Wenco. Used them many times over the years.

Re: Driveshaft shops in Los Angeles area
IIRC, Wenco charged me more than Cannon Engineering. I've used both with good results.
