Just wanted share my modified C10 build! I've taken a 2009 C6 corvette drivetrain & suspension and built a new chassis.

This is after the firewall was modified to look as original as possible!

I also took the dash & console and modified it to fit in the 68!

Wow. That's kick ass. Gonna do some twisties? That's cool as heck.

I took out 6 inches out of the inner bed panels! I did it in the center of the reveals to look factory! And raised the tubs 2 1/2" and sectioned them 4" & sided them 4" for tire clearance!

This is what I started with! It came out of Arizona so it was relatively rust free.

You are welcome. My dad used to say I could tear up a steel anvil with a rubber mallet. Among other things.
Another note, spent my high school years in El Cajon cruising up and down second avenue. My buddies and me used to cruise up to Escondido some but the cops hassled us a bit so we quit. Good times.
I will keep an eye on your build. Got a 63 GMC shortbed fleetside that I kinda have this in mind for if I ever sell my 67 Chevelle.

Oh ya El Cajon? I try to get down there when I can but Escondido has Cruising Grand on Friday nights which is about 2 miles from the shop. I look forword to seeing your 63 someday! Any pics of your Chevelle? Thanks Ron

I wanted the firewall to look as factory as possible so I recessed it here because the Vette K-member sets the motor behind axel centerline I'm using the magnesium pedal assembly so I had to build out the booster master cyl area. This will also be getting a Maggie supercharger

Actually the 63 GMC got put on the back burner while I try to make lemonade out of a bag of 1968 lemons. Thread "Meet Homer".
My Chevelle, sure;

These were from year before last up in the mountains. Rained all night long and next morning there was solid ice all over my Chevelle. Packed up next morning and headed home. had enough wet, cold, weather.

Nice 67! I like the 67 body's the most I had a buddy in high school who had one if I remember right he had an aluminum head 427 he and I went at it quite a bit! Good times.

Thanks. hard to find a car/truck guy who didn't "have one, or had a buddy who had one, or an uncle". Like our old trucks these suckers immediately pop us back in time to a much younger day. My Chevelle puts a smile on my face just going out in the garage and looking at it. But, so do my old trucks. Maybe more with the trucks as I don't worry about scratching it.

Sweet..bet you're happy to get rid of the C6 saddle tanks that are prone to fuel pump failure!

Hi Justin yes I have built a fuel cell with an Areomotive fuel pump! I am going to supercharge it and I don't want any failures. And I'm trying to figure out the door panels now. The Vette panels that is

gotcha...what about the exterior handles?

I'm really partial to the 67-68 C10 body so with the exception of slanting the tail light & tailgate forword 2" and flush mount windshield & rear glass I'm keeping the exterior stock looking
