Nice Truck!

Mine is a 3.5/5 in drop using ECE drop spindles, sway bar and springs front with 5 in drop springs rear, CPP rear sway bar and ECE super track bar and shock mount relocating brackets. Wheels are 17x8 with 4.5 in backspace front and 17x10 with 5 in backspace rear. Tires are Toyo Proxes ST's 255x60-17 front and 285x60-17 rear.

Nothing rubs and nothing hits the bump stops BUT 255 is the widest tire you can run in front with those wheels and the front mods.

Re: Pics of Dropped Stepsides

If you see a truck in the thread that you like the look of you could fairly easily find the build thread for the truck (many have one) and find the specifics there. Or, send the owner a PM asking about the specifics. Most people will get back to you pretty quickly around here if they are still hanging around the forum.

There lies the problem...Most people will get back to you pretty quickly around here if they are still hanging around the forum.

Most of the pics on that thread are almost 4 yrs old.... the owners that I have tried to contact are no longer active on the site. Believe me, I have searched this site and others for the answers to my questions before I post.

Here is mine. Not sure of the drop but I'm right at 29-30" to the top of the wheel well lip. 18" coys all around 4" BS in the back (Coys claims 4.5")3.75 in the front. Tires are 255/55/18 in the back, fronts are smaller but I don't remember what they are right now.

Re: Pics of Dropped Stepsides

Here's ol Owen. 3/5 spring drop. Factory 15X6 steel wheels with 215/75/15 tires on front and factory 15X8 steel wheels with 255//15 tires on rear to give it the ol school 1" rubber rake. Without the tire rake it sits dead level. Factory wheels all have 4" BS.

I really like the look of your tires and wheels, how it fills the wheel well!

Thanks! To me, a 18" wheel gives a good balance between wheel size and tire sidewall size.
