How do I make my 70 chevy c10 swb hand very well in corners?!

I want to put a suspension kit on my truck to make it handle very well in the corners. Kind of like a race truck. I k now I could play with the camber but what is the best kit. I was gonna go with ridetech coil over but not really wanting to spend 4500 on it. Thanks.

Here's a good place to start reading http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...419251&page=70

Ridetech, Hotchkis, NoLimit, Porterbuilt/Ridetech are all great "bolt-in" kits but you are going to pay for their quality and R&D.

2" Drop spindles, 2" drop springs, and sway bar (ran through the hangers) up front. 4" drop springs and sway bar out back.

ditch the leafsprings and put a real suspension in back ,laderbars or 4 link , and coilovers , will take your truck from the horse drawn wagon feel and handling , to a modern sports car feel ,, a good panard bar or other locator will be needed and a quality swaybar also , the stock swingarms and coilsprings work quite well also ,
