Need suggestion on place to make a front drive shaft
Needing to get a front driveshaft made for my 71 GMC. Anyone have suggestions? I've looked some on google but it'd be nice to here of someone actually giving a recommendation.

Re: Need suggestion on place to make a front drive shaft
I would think that any local drive-line shop could make you one. You could also talk to some local short track racers about who they use.

Re: Need suggestion on place to make a front drive shaft
Similar story here, I went to my local drive shaft guy. His prices are through the roof (almost double) and he was a pain. He lectured me for about 20 mins about "critical speed" since I'm using a big block.
I'm going to buy from a guy in Utah. I just got off the phone with him. Told me how he wants his measurements. Has the u-joints I need in stock. I think he runs his "store" through ebay. Tatton's Drive Shafts. He's got a rather large following in the 4x4 and Jeep world.... |

I don't have a local shop or I'd go that route. I'll look into tattons. Thanks

Westminster Transmission, just up the road piece . Seriously, that's where I've gone for years, but you found a good place it sounds like. Could you post a link?
