Awesome looking Blazer. Maybe it's my iPad but that paint looks to have more yellow in it than the factory ochre.

Re: my 72 ochre

Very nice! I've got a'72 ochre with similar style winch bumper and Warn 8274 too. I used the old style round turn signal lenses on my bumper.

What size tires are you running? Is there any lift at all?

It's a 2 inch tough country.. The previous owner had 4inch springs in the rear. Which had a big rake like a dune buggy. I like the level look.. There 33's

Very nice Blazer. I have had good results from single stage paint on my Blazer as well. Its durable and you can buff out most scratches.

Thanks...I like how it came out, but now I notice all the little imperfections in the body... Time for my paintless dent guy to come over for a couple of hours... He can really work some magic on dings....

Thanks I got real excited when I saw the vintage winch combo... Warn stopped making that winch in 1972. It still works and I have the original owners manual with it..

Re: my 72 ochre

What brand tires are they? I am getting ready to purchase some for mine and I like the way yours look. I like the black walls, Do they have white letters on them turned to the inside or were they black on both sides?

Ah, you've actually got the predecessor to the Warn 8274, the Warn 8000 aka Belleview winch with the cable controls - very cool!
